Anyone with even the slightest interest in aviation is bound to know the Wright brothers. Orville and Wilbur were pioneers to endeavor into the magnificence possessed by the sky. Known to the world as the Wright Brothers, they invented and flew the World's first successful aircraft on December 17, 1903. The brothers invented the Wright Flyer and cruised 4 miles.
The most crucial moment in the life of the Wright Brothers were the discovery of three-axis control system. It was the the key factor that gave the power of steering and maintaining the aircraft's equilibrium to the pilot. To design wings for flights they observed birds and found out that the wings were balanced for angle and control. This led to the concept of 'Wing Warping'. The Wright Brothers were successful in their experiment and flew the first glider which is known as the 'Wright Glider'. Three manned gliders were flown in between 1900-1902 in their path to successfully achieving powered flight.
With courage and perseverance, these self-taught engineers relied upon teamwork and science. The development they achieved changed the world forever.
